This first LP release by KC and the Sunshine Band was eclipsed by the self titled album a year later that included the mega-hits Get Down Tonight and That's The Way I Like It, but it's a great album of Miami funk-disco in it's own right. Many of the tracks are available on the Rhino reissue of the self-titled album and various hits compilations/5(6).

Do It Good had little mainstream impact in the United States, despite catchy tracks like "Sound Your Funky Horn".The album was focused towards an upbeat funk, which would later turn into disco. After the song "Queen of Clubs" became a hit, the album was re-issued in with the title Queen of contoanabirockfast.petoboningguhartherstalviepresatrel.co record had a new cover that featured a playing card with the Queen of Clubs on.
